This test method covers the determination of the existent gum content of aviation fuels, and the gum content of motor gasolines or other volatile distillates in their finished form, (including those containing alcohol and ether type oxygenates and deposit control additivessee Note 7 for additional information) at the time of test.
Bath equipped with 18/8 stainless steel jacket in aluminium block, 5 concentric pre-heating coils with 5 wells connected to the central collector with socket for steam measurer, 5 mobile jets, insulated air gap. Built-in steam overheater with regulator and condensate discharge valves. Heating and overheater are controlled by a digital thermoregulator PID with overtemperature alarm. The bath is fitted with a flowmeter wrapped in a protection covering, steam flowmetric manometer. The overheater for steam can be disconnect.
